Research Activity
I am interested in working on Microeconomic Applied Theory subjects, ranging from Public Economics to Political Economy and Political Science, from I.O. to Regulation.
From February to May 2010 I will join the LaTEx laboratory in Alicante (under the guidance of professor Ponti) to improve my knowledge of Experimental Economics and to be able, eventually, to run some experiments testing my theoretical models.
My PhD thesis (Toulouse, October 2008) consisted of three articles: Education and vouchers, has been conditionally accepted for publication in “Economics of Education Review”. For Tax evasion and itemised deduction a revision was requested by “Fiscal Studies”. My job market paper Plurality versus proportional electoral rule was presented, in 2009, at the conferences EPCS, APET, and Journées Gerard-Varet; and at the II Political Economy summer school, organised by the University of Barcelona. It was submitted to the European Journal of Political Economy.
